I found THE WEDDING CAPER to be a delightful short story… an easy, breezy read for a summer day.
A case of mistaken identity lands meek bridal assistant Gwendolen Lynch in the role of her legendary wedding planner boss. Instead of unmasking the charade, Gwen makes the split second decision to play along, and finds herself roped into the challenge of her small career with a socialite bride and her domineering mother. Juggling the outlandish requests–from firing “the best man” to renting hot air balloons–thrusts Gwen into the spotlight role she always dreamed of.
Knowing she should escape before her true identity is exposed, Gwen clings to the masquerade for one reason the handsome, boyish Ryan Miller. Whose opinions of the wedding fail to impress his bride-to-be, awakening Gwen’s sympathy for the seemingly forgotten groom.
Stealing her boss’ identity? Now that was the easy part. The hard part is preventing her secret crush from stealing her heart away.

I enjoyed this book. A nice light read! It took little brain power and was pretty predictable. It reminded me of a cross between the movie "Wedding Planner" with Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey and the book "The Devil Wears Prada." I particulary like reading books like this one after reading something with a deeper plot or an emotional storyline.
Neither original or overly funny. To be honest this bok passed the time but also wasted my time. Not highly recommeded.
Little interest in the plot, did have enough interest to keep me reading. Characters seem to be lifelike and story line was good.
Good book for bring for a dr's visit. The story line is not all twisty-turns where're you need a scorecard keep track.
This is one of those books that is just a fun read. Perfect for lying on a beach and relaxing with an umbrella drink.

This book was what i was expecting light simple fun. Entertaining enough. Was however quite short and took me an hour ish to read. Could have done with a few more chapters. A bit more effort developing the male character rupert, roger or something would have been good. Pretty sure it started with an R. Seemed like a nice guy and did something with computers. Why anyone would fall in love with him I dont know. The author didnt bother to explain that.
